Our Mission
We are KickStart Ghana, a charity registered both in the UK and Ghana, envisioning a future where every Ghanaian can fulfil their potential and achieve success. We’re dedicated to enhancing the educational and sporting opportunities in Ghana. Through grants, financial assistance, and the recruitment of passionate local and international volunteers, we’re making strides towards a more prosperous and empowered Ghana.
The Challenges
Despite recent improvements, education in Ghana still faces significant hurdles. Over a third of the Ghanaian government’s education budget goes towards salaries, leaving other critical areas like facilities and textbooks underfunded. The lack of proper educational infrastructure and resources prevents around 800,000 school children from receiving formal education.
Ghanaian culture is saturated with love for football, yet many schools struggle with inadequate funding for equipment and entry fees to competitive tournaments. We aim to leverage this universal passion for sport to motivate and unify communities.

We are firm believers in the transformative power of small acts. Through modest funding, community involvement, and dedicated volunteers, we’re committed to driving big changes.
